How to use it

  1. Add your files

Drop songs or a whole album folder onto the page, or choose them from your device. Existing tags are read straight away.

  2. Select the tracks

Pick one track, several, or the whole album. The side panel shows the cover they have now, or tells you they have none.

  3. Add the image

Drop a JPEG or PNG onto the artwork area, choose one from your device, or pick a ready-made cover from the cover library. Crop it to a square and resize it if you want to.

  4. Export

Download a ZIP, save straight into a folder, or share the files from your phone. Exports are new files; your originals are never modified.

What it does

One cover for the whole album
Apply an image to every selected track at once. The health scan also points out tracks whose cover is missing or different from the rest of the album.
Crop and resize
Square crop with zoom and reposition. Keep the original resolution or resize to 3000, 1400, 1000 or 600 pixels. Images are never upscaled.
No cover? Use the library
The built-in cover library has abstract designs, gradients, plain colors, public-domain paintings and CC0 nature photos. All are free to use, with no credit required.
Embedded in the file
Artwork is stored inside each MP3's tags, so it travels with the song. Album exports can also include a cover file in the folder.

Common questions

What size should album art be?

Square. 1000 or 1400 pixels suits most players and keeps files small. Larger covers such as 3000 pixels look sharp on big screens but add to the size of every track.

Which image formats can I use?

JPEG and PNG are embedded exactly as they are, without recompression. Other formats your browser can open, such as WebP, are converted to JPEG first because players only reliably read JPEG and PNG from tags.

Can I add the same cover to many files?

Yes. Select all the tracks, add the image once, and it is applied to every one of them.
